Leesburg Landscaping by Magee Design Located in the beautiful setting of Leesburg, Magee Design had the pleasure to show off a stunning transformation, where nature meets class. This was designed for the discerning client, showcasing both the landscape professionalism we employ and the quality of life outdoor spaces can enhance. The began with an overall assessment of the space, which had its own set of challenges, including uneven topography and areas with little to no sun. Our talented team came up with an effective remedy in the form of a tiered garden design that not only enhanced the use of the area, but also split the space into different areas for relaxing and for entertaining. Furthermore, we filled the area with a plant palette composed of mostly native plants, allowing for sustainability while enhancing the space. The design included planting flowering perennials, ornamental grasses and evergreen shrubs that provide even more interest, while requiring very little maintenance. We chose natural stone pathways around the area, boasting clean lines, to create a visual path through the green and connect different areas of the garden. We created a show piece with a formal water feature that brings tranquility to the area, and brings in wildlife. The gentle sounds of trickling water provide a great backdrop for entertaining. In addition we provided the client with custom seating areas made of high end materials that will weather the elements, and create inviting spots for family and friends to enjoy the outdoors. The lighting also played a vital role in the transformation. We were able to include a majority of the electrical system using energy efficient lighting that highlights key features of the landscape, for use during the day, and while calmly entertaining at night. The end result was a stunning outdoor oasis that not only met, but exceeded our client's expectations, giving them a beautifully designed space, while providing a great space to entertain family and friends.
