About This Project

Client Residence in Beech Spring Farm Blvd. Myers + Co. Landscape Architecture is thrilled to showcase our design for the Beech Spring Farm Blvd Residence. This hard and soft landscaping reflects our clients' vision of harmony between nature and modern living with elegance and function. The design includes many native plantings that are visually stunning and enhance the existing local ecology. The combination of perennials, shrubs, and ornamental grasses provides multi-seasonal interest and overall texture. The use of local natural stone throughout the pathways adds rustic character while providing a solid base that will be low maintenance. One of the challenges of the property was the slope. Our landscape architects developed tiered garden beds and retaining walls made from natural boulders. Utilizing natural elements not only stabilized the landscape but added visual interest. The design promotes optimal drainage and soil retention contributing to the vitality of the planting design. The patio area is made from permeable pavers, adding both comfort for gathering with family and friends but promotes an ease of functional outdoor space that connects the landscape and the dwelling. To enhance family involvement, a custom fire pit is incorporated into the circular gathering area. Each aspect of the was custom designed with the client in mind. We collaborated with clients to ensure their vision is executed while still making design decisions which encompassed their lifestyle and activities. The collective engagement ultimately resulted with a natural outdoor oasis consisting of comfort, aesthetics, and longevity that they can share with family. We pride ourselves in our commitment to design, quality, and innovative problem-solving for clients across the region and neighborhoods including Brownsboro Farm, Green Spring, and beyond.
