Summary: Hot Tub Habitat by K & D Landscaping, Inc. K & D Landscaping, Inc. is excited to showcase the 'Hot Tub Habitat,' a stunning outdoor sanctuary designed to encourage relaxation within the natural beauty of our beautiful service area of Santa Cruz, Monterey, and Carmel Valley. This demonstrates our commitment to craftsmanship and design while overcoming some obstacles. The Hot Tub Habitat occupies a private backyard in a serene setting and features a luxurious, sunken hot tub wrapped in natural stone walls and a beautiful redwood deck made from sustainably sourced materials. Our experience with these materials was not only visually a good choice, but we knew they would withstand the coastal climate. One of the obstacles we had to address was the uneven nature of the existing site conditions. We executed an overall grading plan that involved leveling the ground through environmental sustainable practices and techniques, while preserving the integrity of the natural landscape . This provided a stable base for the hot tub and addressed drainage during heavy rainfall events. As nightfall approached, to enhance the environment we installed native plants and ornamental grasses surrounding the hot tub area - creating a tranquil oasis complete with a custom pergola that enhances the area with shade and beauty. With ample space for entertaining, the Hot Tub Habitat is a wonderful location for the homeowner to relax after a long day. Ultimately, we worked together to blend the functionality and beauty that provides our client with a place to escape from the world - and in turn transformed the space into a family gathering place. The Hot Tub Habitat demonstrates our exceptional service at K & D Landscaping, Inc. while displaying high quality of workmanship, and we are proud to deliver a that exceeded expectations and memories that will last a lifetime.
