Excerpt from English Country Garden | City Garden Company City Garden Company is pleased to present our most recent landscape A Charming English Country Garden in Atlanta. This beautiful escape was crafted to channel the feel of a quintessential English garden, marrying the outdoors with elegance. We handpicked a variety of native and flowering plants, from aromatic roses, to lavender and colourful foxgloves. We mixed a few more classical features pretty stone pathways, timber archways, wisteria draped gazebo inviting you to meander and linger in with the traditional. The topography of the site it one of the biggest challenges we had to face up to. Crafted by our landscape architects, locally quarried, natural dressed stone, provides aesthetic appeal complemented with stability and drainage through the design of tiered planting beds and retaining walls. Finding a way to make the garden more attractive, we ended up building a custom designed irrigation system for the garden which waters each plant separately and helps them grow healthily and sustainably. The end product is a stunning scene that places tourists in an idyllic English countryside. The client was very pleased, having written in to say that the garden space has become a delicate area where the family can come together for some time and moments of quiet contemplation. A sanctuary that has become a reminder of what quality craftsmanship and attention to detail can yield when brought to the hands of a dedicated company such as City Garden Company to execute, this is another great example of the quality landscape design we produce here at City Garden Company throughout the Greater Atlanta area including Druid Hills, Buckhead, Emory and surrounding neighborhoods.
