SF Hayes Valley - Urban Oasis Remake The Garden Route Company is pleased to announce the SF Hayes Valley , an amazing conversion of an urban space into a garden escape. This is centrally located in San Francisco and showcased our expertise in quality landscaping and design. The process started with a site analysis to help our team understand the specific challenges of the urban environment, including limited space and the exposure to sunlight. The design involved integrating a variety of native plants, which was sustainable and supported the local ecology. Materials such as permeable pavers and natural stone were selected that allowed for the path and seating areas to blend with the architecture. Integration of a multi-layered vertical garden stabilized the limited space, providing an enticing focal point. The living wall is outfitted with an array of colorful flora that will provide seasonal color and texture while helping to offset pollution! Important to the was the collection of water run-off from the roof to nourish the garden while establishing environmental responsibility. Although there was uneven terrain and existing infrastructure, our team was able to design the plan using creative landscaping solutions that allowed for the to stay in budget and on schedule. The end design provides a beautiful balance of site integration, intimacy, greenery, and lighting to highlight the garden's beauty at night. The client was ecstatic with the garden and eagerly stated, their new outdoor oasis serves as a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
