Backyard Staycation by K & D Landscaping, Inc. At K & D Landscaping, Inc., we think your backyard should be a personal oasis. Our most recent , “Backyard Staycation”, embodies this notion as we renovated an otherwise typical outdoor space, into a beautiful escape for our clients in Aptos. The was successful through the elegant use of lush greenery, beautiful hardscaping and intentional design elements that embraced leisure and the enjoyment of entertainment with family. The first plan of action was to install a custom paver patio. We chose to be environmentally conscious by using high-quality, permeable material that enhances drainage, minimizing our impact on the environment. The generous area provides the best setting for family gatherings or an evening with the stars. To evoke tranquility and local biodiversity, we added a beautiful water feature, complete with a waterfall and a koi pond. The water feature surprised our clients as it also helped them enjoy listening to the aesthetic enjoyment of flowing water. The pond was surrounded by a variety of native plants and perennials that would redecorate every season. The faced challenges which included current topographical conditions of the space, as well as restricted access for heavy machinery. Our team faced the topographical conditions thoughtfully through innovative actions, utilizing accurate grading equipment by using an innovative approach to deliver the customers expectations. The beautiful outdoor space met the expectation of our customer in blending beauty with a successful area of functionality. The family learns of new cozy, lighting discuss space in coming weekends - everything they have dreamed of with their own backyard sanctuary. “Backyard Staycation” takes a beautiful property to another fulfilled quality of life.
