Zaremba & Company DuCharme Place This is the DuCharme Place by Zaremba & Company, who are dedicated to creating landscapes that are designed and built with excellence. Located within the ever-enriching Oakland Township community, we took a typical residential backyard and redefined it into an outdoor retreat that complements the architecture of the home. When we started, the team was trying to figure out how to work with the existing uneven ground with no clear designated areas in which to socialize or unwind. Through considerate design we included stacked gardens, beautiful pathways, and an amazing patio that harmonizes with the natural terrain. By using durable and attractive natural stone pavers and river rock from a local source, we achieved an improved natural environment that adds to the value of the property owner. Noteworthy aspects of the DuCharme Place include a custom fire pit with seating areas for family time and gatherings of guests, plus perennial flower beds that blossom over the seasons. The native species selected for use in the landscape provide lasting beauty and many environmental benefits while being sustainable and low-maintenance. A gentle curve under the creciendo domeOur experienced team carefully designed a meandering road so that visitors could be encouraged to wander through the bush and view the variety of vegetation as they moved through the landscaping. We were thankful that not only did we complete the within the clients vision, but the thought put into the design and execution created a balance between nature and craftsmanship. The DuCharme Place , in the end, highlighted one of the many challenges that Zaremba & Company can handle but, also highlights the return on investment in a beautiful, functional landscape that pleases the homeowner and adds to the overall neighborhood appeal. The end result is a beautiful escape that encourages our clients to relax and enjoy the outdoors; proving again, why we are one of the top landscaping services in the greater Oakland County area.
