About This Project

Coconut Grove by LandStudio Located in the center of Coconut Grove, this clearly exemplifies LandStudio's dedication to providing high-quality landscape architecture. The took a generous, outdoor space, and transformed it into a lush landscape oasis, combining native plant material with relatable elements of modern design. The design utilized vibrant tropical plants that maintain our warm subtropical climate with color such as hibiscus and jasmine, as well as tough palms that have viability in these conditions. High quality materials, such as natural stone walks that will remain for generations and sustainable sourced wood decking, were specified for use in this landscape. Each material was chosen based upon enhancing the aesthetic look, while preserving the durability for the coastal climate. One of the main issues for this particular site was the drainage issue to address excess water on the landscape. LandStudio's skilled team with direction from senior registered landscape architects designed an innovative rain garden that not only resolved the issue of standing water, but also promoted biodiversity by telling beneficial wildlife. The result is an outdoor oasis, that takes advantage of the natural beauty amongst the surroundings, while providing the clients with a tranquil space away from the daily hustle and bustle of life. One of the client’s favorite elements of the was how well adapted planting transitioned from interior spaces, and how outdoor lighting provided, even more allure to the landscape in the evenings. From conception to execution LandStudio provided a that exceeded all the client's expectations, furthering their reputation for a premier landscape company servicing Coconut Grove and surrounding communities.
