Los Laureles by LandStudio Located in Coconut Grove, the Los Laureles exemplifies LandStudio's efforts in landscaping. This involved the complete transformation of a small home site into a lush outdoor space that responded well to the tropical context of South Florida. The featured a complex arrangement of native Florida plant species to ensure ecological sustainability, with color Year Round. It incorporated luxurious hardscapes in the form of natural stone walks and a rich wood deck that did not detract from the landscape. Custom furniture was placed in shaded areas beneath large oaks to encourage relaxation and casual gatherings. The greatest challenge was that the site's sloped terrain needed proper drainage to prevent future water build-up and erosion. Our skilled team at LandStudio incorporated permeable pavers and bioswales into the design to effectively deal with water management while maintaining the natural topography of the landscape. The end result is stunning. The Los Laureles elevated the exterior of the property, and the client’s lifestyle was drastically improved by creating a place of tranquility just steps away from his front door. The attention to detail, quality craft, and commitment to satisfy the client all reflect LandStudio's role as a leader in landscaping throughout Miami and beyond.
