Miami Beach by LandStudio The Miami Beach , designed by LandStudio, is an incredible showcase of the artistry and craftsmanship that is at the heart of our landscaping philosophy. Our diverse client base, from Coconut Grove to Coral Gables to Key Biscayne, is characteristic of the high quality of work that we can achieve. Situated in the center of Miami Beach, this entailed a complete renovation of a home’s landscape from nothing special to a backyard oasis. We utilized Florida native plants- including palms, hibiscus, and fragrant jasmine to create an outdoor haven that combined beauty, sustainability, and drought-resistance. Drought-resistance components, including permeable pavers and natural stone pathways, enhanced aesthetics while also dealing with some of Miami's environmental issues. One of our biggest challenges was the sandy soil in the area that impeded plant growth and stability. Our team was able to create an intricate irrigation system provided for the climatic conditions in the Miami Beach area so plants would prosper while providing water conservation as well. We also created a custom drainage system to mitigate flooding during heavy rain, which is characteristically prevalent in the region. Ultimately, the landscape was stunning and included a peaceful water feature, colorful flower garden, and a pleasant outdoor living space with a fire pit and seating area. The client was extremely pleased with the results, stating that it just all flowed together-cutting-edge modern design and natural elements. The Miami Beach enhanced curb appeal dramatically while also creating an outdoor living escape for a family to entertain and relax.
