Kodiak by Seedlings Landscape Design Build Set against the beautiful backdrop of West Lake Hills, the Kodiak showcases Seedlings Landscape Design Build's vision of creating beautiful outdoor spaces. The design and build team worked together with the homeowners to reinvent their large property into a stunning and livable oasis that fulfills both aesthetic and usability goals. At the center of Kodiak is a vibrant multi-tiered patio fabricated out of locally available natural stone, perfect for harmonizing with the site. Built-in to the design is a luxury outdoor kitchen that is well equipped, so family and friends can enjoy gathering together outdoors. To set the mood, the design reflects built-in seating, fire pits, and ambient lighting for romantic evenings. To further elevate function and aesthetic value, we selected a combination of native plants and drought tolerant landscapes to enhance appearance and sustainability. Our experienced horticulturists assembled an abundant collection of colorful perennials, ornamental grasses, and native shrubs all well suited for the Central Texas climate, in order to ensure simple beauty and durability in all seasons. There were many s throughout the entire build to keep things interesting. From uneven topography and problem drainage, our team of professionals calmly navigated their way ahead with special solutions that create a new drainage system to carry rainwater away from the property while keeping the site harmonious. The result of the work completed at Kodiak is what we consider to be a perfect balance of natural beauty and modern design. The client expressed to us that our work exceeded their expectations, enhanced property value, and generated a serene atmosphere for them to relax and observe the natural hills and stunning views of their neighborhood.
