'In Arlington' by Magee Design In the heart of Arlington, this transformative landscaping was made in tandem with Magee Design's commitment to quality, creativity, and client satisfaction. We partnered closely with the homeowners to create a beautiful outdoor oasis that dramatically highlighted the architecture of the home and the natural beauty of its location. The includes a beautiful range of hardscape and softscape features. We added an elegant flagstone pathway that draws visitors through beautiful landscapes of native plants with seasonal interest that thrive in Virginia's climate. A custom fire pit surrounded by seating allows for cozy evening gatherings and entertaining friends. Our design team enjoyed the challenge of working with a relatively steep slope. To accommodate this, we designed tiered planting beds that maximize space while increasing visual interest and depth. High-quality materials were carefully selected, including durable pavers and natural stone, to provide longevity and minimal upkeep for the homeowners. We also included a rain garden to help manage stormwater runoff and promote ecological health within the landscape. Ultimately, we balanced beauty and functionality, creating an outdoor retreat for the homeowners to enjoy throughout the year.
