Greater Heights L3 Designs The 'Greater Heights' located in a thriving neighborhood in the heart of Houston is a strong representation of the best in landscaping. Serving areas such as Alief, Katy, and Bellaire with this high-profile, expansive , we converted a typical residential yard into a relaxing refuge of botanical wonders. The stunning centerpiece of 'Greater Heights' is a beautifully composed, multi-level garden area that combines native plants with carefully selected non-native species in colorful and textured compositions, changing with the seasons. Using sustainable materials, such as locally sourced stone for the retaining walls and paths, we met the client's durability and aesthetic needs. The paths guide our client's visiting public through a masterfully composed setting with a koi pond, we choose personality and pleasure with our butterfly garden, and then made a cozy fire pit area for the gathering and after dark. One of the primary challenges was the original site conditions. Our skilled team carefully regraded the property so that we implemented drainage solutions that worked incredibly well while preserving the natural attractiveness of the landscape. Drought tolerant plants and smart irrigation systems were then opted for due to concern over the amount of Houston's water usage in the landscapes. The result is an awe-inspiring outdoor refuge that meets the client’s vision for an escape from their daily lives without having to wander far from the comforts of home. 'Greater Heights' demonstrates L3 Designs' quality, thoughtful creativity, and dedication to sustainability for our visible gardens which delight our clients.
