Long Island Landscape Designs Inc. has been transforming outdoor spaces into stunning landscapes that exhibit beauty and unique taste as needed by the homeowners. We are pleased to unveil our latest d 'Our Work' which captures the essence of quality and craftsmanship in the lovely regions of Belle Terre, Bellport, and beyond. This was a full backyard renovation in Port Jefferson, which had some slopes and zero sun. We moved a lot of earth to terrace the garden to make it more interesting. Using local, natural stone pavers and sustainable mulch material, we made an effort to choose landscape materials that would hold up well in this climate and complement our environmental goals. Highlights of the are a well built permeable patio which also holds the space for events outdoors and allows efficient drainage. We added permanent perennial flower beds that we arranged to flowers would bloom together all season long but to provide colors year-round. The solution was to implement low energy consumption LED landscape lighting to highlight the features of the garden while providing little disturbance in terms of the night sky. Then we designed a custom fire pit surrounded by lake friendly seating material, ready for cool evenings with entertainment. At the end of the process, new sustainable irrigation system was added to the completed area, which provides every plant with the water it needs, while reducing inefficiencies. Now the finished product was a beautiful back yard oasis which our customers were thrilled with, both having a sanctuary to escape to and a space to entertain.
