Front Entryways by Graham Kimak Landscape Designs Graham Kimak Landscape Designs excels in turning outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional treasurers. Our most recent d "Front Entryways" is a demonstration of quality and creativity for our customers in Upstate South Carolina and Western North Carolina. This commenced with a consultation to gain an understanding of what the client envisions for their home's entryway to be. We decided on creating a warm, inviting space that balances beauty and function. Our design plan featured a lovely stone path made out of locally sourced flagstone leading to a custom-built wooden arbor that provides both shade and an architectural focal point for the entryway, covered in climbing vines and seasonal flowers. We wanted the entrance to feel lush and welcoming, so we incorporated the use of native, region specific plants. The property currently has an established landscape design, so we strategically picked perennial plants, ornamental grasses, and evergreen shrubs to keep the space visually interesting throughout the seasons. We also used low-voltage landscape lighting to illuminate the path and draw attention to the fabulous features just after the sun sets. One of the challenges for this property was the slope of the land. This property has a design feature that will require grading to drain properly but be an establishment element in the surrounding landscape and maintain beauty. Our team worked diligently to grade the land and transition from driveway to entryway seamlessly and skillfully without destroying the natural character of the home and surrounding landscape. This created a beautiful front entryway that improved the curb appeal of the home while also allowing for a warm greeting for friends or family. The client loved how the concept developed and how the design approach reflected their style, quality, and added value to their home. At Graham Kimak Landscape Designs, each creates momentum to support creating lasting impressions with clients, and "Front Entryways" is a great example of quality landscape design.
