Moon Gate Courtyard Daryl Toby - AguaFina Gardens International Located in the center of a vibrant community, the , Moon Gate Courtyard, embodies the artistry and precision of work that AguaFina Gardens International is known for. With clients as diverse as Auburn Hills to Birmingham and even Costa Rica to the UAE, Daryl Toby envisioned this courtyard, blending nature with built-form. At the heart of the Moon Gate Courtyard is a finely detailed moon gate made of locally sourced natural stone to reflect the natural beauty of its context. The architectural beauty of this grand-opening a central point of attraction openness that epitomizes peace and nature. We planted a variety of native shrubs and perennial flowers that bloom at different times throughout the year to surround the moon gate, bringing a replenishing palette of color and texture to each season. The original site condition was uneven with their poor drainage which was one of the big challenges of the . We rectified the ground laying with a cutting-edge drainage system, which pops out water and enables new form of flora to take birth. For the walkways we specified high quality flagstones that take subtle yet serpentine transitions through the courtyard adding interest and encouraging movement, but they do not dominate the area. The end result is something of a mystical courtyard that encourages one to just sit and think. Organizing various seating versatility, the Moon Gate Courtyard has turned into a delicate escape for its proprietors, an idyllic combination of magnificence cautiously adjusted with prudent ease of use. The space has turned out to be a masterpiece due to Daryl Toby, who worked on the finishing process with immense quality and an eye on the , leaving a truly happy client.
