About This Project

Meditative Garden Designed by Daryl Toby of AguaFina Gardens International, the Meditative Garden is an oasis of natural beauty and peace. Set right in the midst of Michigan, this acts as a refuge to the clients from the craziness of life. A design of native plants buffet that includes grasses, flowering perennials, plus a few strategically located trees that provide shade and seasonal interest. The main parade promenade, set with local bluestone, winds through the backyard, taking in a pond where koi, and a softly flowing waterfall have placed planned to capture of serenity and contemplation. Soil conditions and drainage water issues were also challenges during the . With raised beds and natural boulders, we employed landscaping techniques for enhanced plant health and for the garden to be able to run water through the entire garden. The end product is a beautiful juxtaposition of utility and beauty, with reclaimed woods used to create inviting seating areas designed for meditation or reflection. The Meditative Garden not only reinforces the aesthetics of the property, but also adds an enriching atmosphere that brings delight and inspires our clients to reconnect with nature.
