Winter Images by Daryl Toby AguaFina Gardens International AguaFina Gardens International joined in the fun with Daryl Toby's 'Winter Images' in the middle of Oakland County that turned a home property into a gorgeous winter spectacle that wears beauty and yet, plenty, high style, and amazing utility, all at the same time. These included a range of landscaping in such cities as Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills and Royal Oak, which demonstrated our dedication to maintaing both quality and creativity in every we undertake. The seasonal component of ‘Winter Images’ was a carefully selected set of features that celebrated the season while maximising the property’s aesthetics. We added evergreen shrubs such as Boxwood and Juniper for winter interest and ornamental grasses for texture and movement. The main feature was a stone fire pit, custom designed and surrounded by natural boulders, which made a perfect heat source and meeting point for the family, bringing warmth and atmosphere in the cold evenings. This presented us with many challenges, such as ensuring the pathways we designed would be accessible during the winter months. We created welcoming walkways using long-lasting, frost-resistant materials such as permeable pavers as well as local granite, which also helped us with water runoff management while ensuring both long life and sustainability. We did put a lot of thought into our color palette, it was all very soft whites, greens as deep as our Christmas trees, a little winterberry plant here and there, all very winter appropriate. This collectively created a calm but active space that pleased our customers who were excited to see their vision be executed. The 'Winter Images' is a lasting testament to the beauty and craftsmanship of AguaFina Gardens International and its place within the local community. Our persistence with perfection from planning to realisation ensured that this winter getaway fit the bill and then some for a valued client, a testament which solidifies our impact in the landscape industry, both regionally and beyond.
