City Garden Company Deluxe Outdoor Living Space The 'Deluxe Outdoor Living Space' by City Garden Company is a great example of our quality work and dedication to our clients with the perfect type of for transforming a backyard into a outdoor living luxury retreat. This large-scale landscape design features the perfect combination of form with function found in the bustling community of Atlanta. Our first step was to really design a layout that would work for the space and for how the client wanted to be able to use it as a place to entertain friends and a place to have private moments of solitude and introspection. Highlights include a striking stone patio made of locally-sourced bluestone that makes a durable and attractive gathering surface. An outdoor kitchen was also designed, with a custom layout and high-quality stainless steel cooktop to allow the homeowners the chance to do some barbeques. We also added a fire pit with seating around it to give the space its evening functional use. We designed to flower throughout all seasons, using hardy native plants consistently selected both for extreme viability in the local climate as well as for ornamental grasses and flowering shrubs. Addressing Accessibility with Elevated GardensOur team turned a challenge of sloped terrain into an opportunity and designed tiered gardens that enhanced not only accessibility but also added visual interest to the front yard. LED lighting which highlights pathways and features the greenery around the Hub was also integrated, allowing the Hub to magically sap into an oasis at night. The end result was above the expectations that our clients had providing them with a stunning outdoor living space that promotes their way of living and adds value to their property.
