The design provides an enjoyable dynamic layout with beautifully arranged native plantings that we carefully selected for their beauty, usability, durability, and ability to establish a healthy landscape in the Pacific Northwest climate. We used various native flora with lush foliage, colorful perennials, and ornamental grasses that complement each other, function for the local ecology and ecosystem, and enhance the client's outdoor space. The property presented us with the challenge of a sloping gradient, which we took into consideration when proposing tiered planting beds. This design maximized usable space, while still providing effective drainage, erosion control, and healthy soil. We utilized locally sourced stone for the retaining walls and stepping pathways, providing a rustic touch to the landscape, while blending harmoniously with the natural landscape. We provided a spacious outdoor living facet to the design with a composite wooden patio and outdoor furniture for comfort during gatherings of friends or family. A custom firepit design with clustered natural boulders offers more cozy gathering opportunities, while well-planned outdoor lighting highlights the specimen plants and landscape during the night. After executing the , the clients were ecstatic with the transformation of their outdoor space.
