About This Project

Bellevue Residence by Studio 342 Landscape Architecture Located in the beautiful community of Bellevue, this residential landscaping , completed by Studio 342 Landscape Architecture, reflects our design and horticultural expertise. The total space of the landscaping is just over 5,000 square feet. The landscaping blends seamlessly with the surrounding natural landscape while featuring the architectural beauty of the home. When we arrived on site, we realized we would face a very steeply sloped yard which elicited the idea of a terraced area highlighting both native plants and native blooms. After sourcing locally and using river rock and reclaimed wood, we were able to develop a terraced area designed to check erosion yet provide beautiful visual presentation. Importantly, our created a water feature that was custom-designed and installed featuring a waterfall ending in a pond - making for beautiful use of sustainable natural resources and attracting wildlife to the yard. Within this feature, we positioned native plants, including ferns, rhododendrons and flowering perennials, that add vegetation color while anchoring the water feature into its surroundings. Additionally, the included a large, open-type patio space in a eco-friendly porcelain paving product - which was an enhancement to their outdoor living spaces. With the addition of ambient lighting to pathways and gardens beds, the space glows in the evenings and makes for great gathering space. The end result was a successful exceeding our client’s expectations. The landscape is stunningly beautiful and allows our clients to enjoy their landscape every day in harmony with nature.
