When we first arrived at this expansive residential property located in the middle of Oakland County, our team was tasked with creating a designed outdoor space that blends with and enhances the expansive elegance of the surrounding environment. The natural stone paths, retaining walls, and gardens filled with native plantings were brought together in this . High-quality materials were used, such as locally sourced flagstone and organic mulches that will stand the test of time. In addition, the design also includes a beautiful water feature which not only adds to the visual appeal, but also encourages local wildlife to populate the property, thus, adding to biodiversity benefits. The most difficult aspect of the property was the slope, so we had to come up with creative solutions for drainage to keep the landscape healthy as water couldn't just pool to the bottom. So we consulted with our talented team to develop a tiered design that would solve those pesky drainage problems, going on to form visually appealing, multi-level interest throughout the yard. They created a stunning outdoor area that strikes a perfect equilibrium between beauty and function, allowing the homeowners an escape from the world to relax and entertain in a way that they have always desired. The client was beyond happy with the and noted how well the natural components worked together and how every aspect of the design has been meticulously planned out.
