Schervier Nursing Home Landscaping PFI Plant Fantasies, Inc. At PFI Plant Fantasies, Inc.(R) we turn spaces into dynamic and therapeutic places, enhancing the lives of those who live and work in and through it. Another great example of our quality and creative landscaping from a recent at Schervier Nursing Home. In the middle of the Bronx, Schervier Nursing Home had a lot to work withhigh,edifices, but an even bigger desire for a redesign that would not only make things beautiful on site but also be able to offer a peaceful atmosphere for residents to spend time and socialize. There were however challenges during the construction process in maintaining existing mature trees, but also site access. The design of new features within our natural landscape is key, which our team planned carefully for. The final image shows that there is a line of thriving gardens with native plants in line with the aspects of the climatic conditions of the area. We also included a lovely permeable paver walking path, which allows for proper drainage, environmental sustainability, and intuitive accessibility. The design also incorporated comfortable seating areas with high-quality, weather-resistant furniture to draw residents outside. A gentle water feature adds to the soothing atmosphere with its still presence and soft sound. The use of materials like local stone and environmentally friendly mulch assures resilience, while the materials compliment the architectural context. The finished creates an oasis within Schervier Nursing Home and empowers the community by giving residents a vibrant space to connect with nature. Of course, this staff and resident response speaks to both the quality of our landscaping, and to the heartwarming impact the landscaping has on the daily lives of those who live and work here.
