About This Project

'Humble' from L3 Designs Located in Humble, Texas, L3 Designs began a landscaping that combined function and beauty in the outdoors. The goal of the was to improve and extend the outdoor living area of this charming home while matching the personality of the neighborhood. The included a beautiful landscape with custom, locally sourced stone paths, colorful flower beds with native plants and decorative plants, and a comfortable relaxing and entertaining space, featuring seating for family gatherings. L3 Designs was careful when selecting the locally sourced stone, considering both the quality and look of the stone. By using native plants and teaser zone plants, L3 Designs improved the aesthetics and sustainability value of the landscape while maintaining color in each season with minimal maintenance. L3 Designs encountered some challenges relating to water flow and drainage within the landscape of the property. The design team developed a drainage solution that eliminated the water flow issues and enhanced the overall aesthetics and function in the landscape. The design team was careful to not only provide aesthetically pleasing garden beds but functional garden beds that also diverted water away from the home and reduced the risk for water intrusion due to flooding. The final product was magnificent. The cathedral of boulders, large amounts of lush vegetation, and seasonal colors created a sanctuary for the homeowners that they could enjoy throughout the entire year. The outdoor living area dramatically increased the homes curb appeal while providing the backdrop for family entertaining as well as relaxing nights beneath the stars. This family could not have been more pleased with the ! They applauded L3 Designs for their professionalism, and fantastic attention to detail around all elements of the design, spending time understanding their needs, and being able to fulfill their vision.
