Verbena Completed by: Katherine Field and Associates Set in a pretty coastal area, the 'Verbena' landscaping was designed and built by Katherine Field and Associates. Reaching areas such as Jamestown, Little Compton, and Newport only added to our excitement testing our creativity just outside of Boston. The property had several charming flower beds, all filled with numerous species of verbena, together with native plants to blend with its surroundings. Elegant terraces of granite walkways and natural stone walls created both structure and character, durability and style. Our landscape architects were faced with an incline; therefore, the was terraced in order to create visually interesting changes in levels of both height and depth. To ensure elegance, beauty, generational appeal, and sustainability, the company materials such as locally sourced stone and natural mulch were used with consideration of the region's ecological system. The final product was a beautiful outdoor sanctuary, which delighted our client, imparting cozy relaxation niches in rock surrounded by lush planting greens, including a soothing water feature - all evoking the serenity of the back to nature topic from sustainable materials to finish. Functionality, aesthetics, value, and environmental consciousness were achieved, which ultimately totaled into a glorious enhancement of this property.
