Summary: O'Donnell Residence Constructed by Richard Kattman Landscape Architecture, the O'Donnell Residence features an incredible landscape redesign that combines function with beauty. Located in a beautiful setting of Dover, the included careful design and installation of a multi-level garden with a range of native plant materials that thrive in the local environment. Among the prominent features is the custom stone patio featuring locally sourced bluestone for a durable and attractive space for families to gather outdoors. Natural boulders and a relatively calm water feature provide a visual and peaceful feature to entice the family outdoors. Throughout the , possible challenges were also addressed such as sloping topography and drainage issues. Innovative design and engineering solutions created level, accessible and enjoyable space, all while managing water effectively. In the end, we created a landscape that is highly livable to both the client and their family. The final design includes lush green facings with bright perennials and varied hardscape features that are sympathetic to the architecture. The O'Donnell Residence is a testimony of the quality workmanship and creative vision by Richard Kattman Landscape Architecture and ultimately left the family with a beautiful outdoor space to enjoy for years.
