Summary: North Dallas - Estate - Back Yard Master Plan Southern Land Design is pleased to present the North Dallas Estate Back Yard Master Plan, this landscaping revolutionized outdoor living and enjoyment for our clients. Situated within one of the most exciting neighborhoods in Dallas, this signified Southern Land Design's commitment to soothing design, quality craftsmanship, and originality. The master plan incorporated a mix of garden spaces, usable outdoor spaces, and hardscaping into a cohesive plan. The groundwork of the began with a topographic situation that was challenging in terms of drainage and usability. To mitigate this issue, our team graded the existing landscape to acquire usable space while highlighting and preserving the magnificent natural beauty of the environment. An important design function we created was the stunning patio made of the locally-sourced flagstone, which could not only be functional but would also accentuate potential for enjoyment and entertaining. We incorporated a collection of native plants and ornamental grasses surrounding the patio. We selected the plants for not only for their resilience, but for the seasons of beauty they offered and we protected the clients commitment to low maintenance. Additionally, we constructed a custom-built outdoor kitchen that featured high-end appliances. This space resulted in a successful dining experience outdoors and provided a secluded space. We added a water feature to this area that brought a peaceful flow of water into the space that kept the ambiance peaceful and lovely. A design challenge of limited sun and light was met with creative plant selections that were incorporated into the overall landscape design. This allowed for better use of the space, and also brought shade-loving plants into the landscape, that matched the other lovely plantings in there area. The was translated into a uniquely beautiful yard design that assured to please our clients. The North Dallas Estate Back Yard has qualities of usability and beauty that will provide an enjoyable gathering space for family and relaxation, which has made this a perfect location during the busy family life and any quiet days.
