Granbury, TX Ranch Entry Southern Land Design - A Design/Build Firm proudly introduces the entitled the Granbury, TX Ranch Entry. This is an incredible transformation of harmonizing rustic and modern styles. Located in the heart of Granbury, the set out to simply create an inviting, functional entry to an incredible piece of property while accentuating "curb appeal" and embodying their love for outdoor living. We crafted a large, sustainable landscape design that is built entirely with Texas native plants to ensure sustainability and easy maintenance. The landscape features vibrant wildflowers and drought-tolerant shrubs, ornamental grasses, and more - supporting the client's sustainability goals, creating outstanding seasonal color, and creating a wildlife habitat! The rugged, raw look and feel of the natural stone walks and decorative boulders and granite slabs work to create 'an earthiness' that contains similar colors and textures of the environment in which the is placed. Working with the topography of the property created both opportunity and challenge. We strategically worked with the grading and created tiered planting beds that follow the grade lines of the property in a functional manner, while maintaining the authentic look and feel of natural materials. The also features custom wood gates and a rustic wood fence that frame the entry space nicely to create a warm welcome to all visitors. The end result is a stunning entry that is just as visually impacting for the client as it is for their visitors. The natural materials, plant selection, and innovative design concepts reflect the commitment to quality and craftsmanship that was put into place by the Southern Land Design at the ’s inception. Not only does the entry space contribute positively to the Granbury landscape experience, but it also reflects our beliefs in creating quality outdoor spaces that are useful, inspiring, and timeless.
