The Coastal Landscape, Garden Reading Room The Coastal Landscape is proud to present the "Garden Reading Room," an inviting outdoor reading space in the center of Bremen designed for positive relaxation and enjoyment of nature. The readings room was created after transforming an underutilized corner of the client's garden. The reading room was created from high-quality components that are made from sustainable materials. The patio is made from natural stone that was locally sourced, which provides a rustic yet elegant surface. The seating area has comfortable outdoor furniture that withstands the outdoor elements allowing our clients to enjoy long hours of reading, surrounded by the serene sounds of nature. One significant issue we encountered involved the area being uneven and required expert grading and drainage practices so that the entire space remained accessible and pleasant to be in. Our team provide a minor grade that moved the rainwater away from the reading area while still allowing the site to take shape together as a completed landscape. To further the experience and atmosphere of the reading room we incorporated plantings and vegetation, including flowering flowering shrub, ornamental grasses, and seasonal hardy vegetables that not only provide a fragrance, but a sensory tapestry of color all year round. We seamlessly placed ambient lighting fixtures and bench lights to illuminte the space in dusk and allow the clients to enjoy the evening atmosphere. In the end, we fully realize the clients vision while exceeding their expectations with a beautifully curated garden reading room, that combined nature and floor plan design to provide an idealized reading outdoor experience. The client has expressed great excitement from thier garden reading room and states it has changed their entire experience of being outside, and allows the client to unwind in their own personal garden reading room that serves the budget while complementing their home.
