The Coastal Landscape - Cedar + Copper Pergola In the lovely little community of Bremen, The Coastal Landscape is excited to introduce the Cedar + Copper Pergola - a beautiful that combines use and beauty. This outdoor structure was created to be a place for the clients to unwind and entertain, as well as enhance their outdoor living space. From the highest quality cedar wood specifically nominated for its beauty and sturdiness, this pergola holds true to a cozy feel. The addition of copper throughout the design not only creates beauty, but allows for the use of complementary materials found in nature for a seamless transition from the design to the site. The copper from the finials to the decorative brackets acts as a reflective surface of the sun's rays, glowing in the evening with warmth, and providing beauty. Additionally, one of the challenges we encountered at the property was the slope of the site. Utilizing footings to place the pergola level and performing a competent drainage system was a testament to great engineering, while simultaneously avoiding any damage to the aesthetics of the site. This space is now an addition to the clients backyard, where they can spend time outdoors with family and friends, while being shielded from the elements. The Cedar + Copper Pergola has become a signature to the clients' backyard with its original vision and fine craftsmanship.
