About This Project

Waterfront Patio by Iris Design Associates Situated along the tranquil banks of a scenic waterway, Iris Design Associates undertook an extensive landscaping to create an exceptional waterfront patio from a basic yard. This serves the beautiful towns of Bealeton, Brandy Station and beyond, and highlights our quality craftsmanship and unique design. The centerpiece of the patio is a beautiful, multi-level stone terrace made from locally sourced natural stone that fits seamlessly into its natural surroundings. To enhance the outdoor experience, we included built-in bench seating with all-weather cushions to help encourage conversation and a comfortable space to relax. As with many s, we faced a few challenges, including the slope of the land and creating the best drainage solutions. By creating the proper grades in the design and adding French drains where necessary, we ensured that the space remains dry and comfortable during heavy rains. To emphasize the luxurious experience of the waterfront patio, we included some ambient light fixtures to brighten the patio at night and provide a special atmosphere for evening get-togethers. Also, a fire pit made of natural stone, the same as the patio, creates a gathering space for cozy evening enjoyment for friends and family. The end result is a stunning waterfront patio that enhances the natural beauty of the site while increasing the function of the outdoor space. Our client was excited the renovation and considered it an oasis where they could unwind to the sounds of water.
