Work Country French Meets City Chic When it comes to mixing classic and modern urban flair in the landscaping process, Chicago Specialty Gardens, Inc. presents the beautiful landscaping 'French Provincial With A City Twist'. A lively Chicago neighborhood with a continuing passion for quality and innovation comprise of customers throughout the Chicago metropolitan area, including Evanston, Glenview and Lake Forest, built this . It boasts a carefully curated design with the careful touch of elements reminiscent of the French provincial style, including, lavender-lined paths across French stone, rustic stone walls, and wrought-iron gates. A great juxtaposition of these traditional elements with modern lines seen in their outdoor seating spaces as well as a spectacular water feature serving as a centerpiece. Not only do high-quality, locally sourced materials, like limestone and sustainable hardwoods, add to the aesthetic appeal; but they also help to withstand the forces of nature. A big challenge we faced was the lush classic French garden greenery within an urban silhouette. Dealing with zoning restrictions and size limitations, our team came up with a solution by choosing specific compact plant varieties to ensure that our gardens make the most of the space we have on the site, whilst also incorporating vertical gardens to enhance visual effects. The end result is a stunning visual feast embracing the senses in a landscape of balanced color and complimentary flowers, herbs and foliage. The also comprises a great deal of value-add to the property and a welcoming haven for unwinding and socialising. The end result had my client in love, they expressed that the mix of French elegance and city chic was spot on with their vision.
